Join QDR Consortium
QDR Consortium members cooperate in the development of the QDR family of networking SRAMs. The consortium is currently structured at 3 levels:
Founders - Define the QDR specifications
Adopters - Contribute to draft specifications, get access to final specs
Advisors - Partners, Customers who directly benefit from specifications / products who could participate in product definition as an advisory member
Consortium Objective
Enable members to enter into a cooperative alliance to jointly develop specifications for high performance QDR SRAM products serving the networking market. Members can achieve this by exchanging design simulations, test vectors, test methodologies and characterization plans.
Adopter's eligibility
1. Currently designs and manufactures QDR products, or intends to do so within an year
2. Agrees to use commercially reasonable efforts to develop and manufacture products for commercial sale
Benefits:
1. Participation in the definition of performance specifications and features that will support customer roadmaps
2. Increased efficiency and synergy through cooperative efforts thereby increasing the likelihood of producing a superior product specification
3. Increased likelihood of producing successful products due to customers' desire for leading edge products that are multi-sourced by reputable manufacturers
4. The consortium would strive to develop working relationship and partnership with other industry forums not limited to memory technology that members can extract value from

The QDR Consortium invites Key Industry players & partners to participate in helping define the QDR roadmap. To become a member of the QDR Consortium, do the following:
1. Request for membership by mailing to uub@cypress.com with a cover note indicating why your company is interested in joining the QDR Consortium and your contact details
2. A membership form along with the legal agreement would be mailed to your contact address
3. Fill it up and send a copy back to us at uub@cypress.com
